Brazil exported 4.4 million bags of coffee in May, a record volume for the month and 79.9% higher compared to the same period in 2023. Revenue from international sales reached US$ 1.017 billion, 85.9% higher than in May last year. The information was released on Monday, the 11th, by the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé).

Brazilian coffee exports have surged in 2025, reinforcing the country’s position as the world’s top coffee exporter. According to recent trade reports, Brazil saw a notable increase in coffee export volume, driven by strong global demand, favorable weather, and a productive harvest in key regions like Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo.

The rise in exports includes both Arabica and Robusta beans, with major shipments going to Europe, the United States, and Asia. Brazilian coffee continues to stand out for its consistent quality, rich flavor profiles, and sustainable farming practices, making it a preferred choice in the global coffee market.

With steady growth and rising international demand, Brazil coffee exports are expected to remain strong throughout the year.
